Plattsburgh State Athletics

2014-15 (Junior): Was one of two forwards to play in all 28 Plattsburgh State games… had five goals and eight assists for 13 points… scored a power play goal against SUNY Canton on Feb. 11, 2015
 
2013-14 (Sophomore): Played in 25 of the 26 games… netted three goals including a short-handed goal against Morrisville on Nov. 22, 2013… added 12 assists to finish the season with15 points. 

2012-13 (Freshman): In his first year finished second on the team while leading all freshmen in points with 26… scored seven goals and added a tied team-high 19 assists… tied for the team lead in power play goals with five… scored the game-winner against Williams… scored his first and second collegiate goals against Buffalo State in his third career game.

Before Plattsburgh: Played three seasons with the Elmira Sugar Kings (GOJHL) ... was a two-time assistant captain with the Sugar Kings ... won the Cherrey and Sutherland Cup Championship during the 2010-11 season ... named an all-star and most valuable player in the same season while finishing as the team's leading scorer ... attended Elmira District Secondary School where he also earned most valuable player and first team all-star honors as a member of the soccer team.

Personal: Born Lukas James Baleshta on Sept. 24, 1992 in Sudbury, Ontario ... son of Jake and Mary ... enjoys sports and spending time with friends and family ... accounting major.
