Biography

2016 (SOPHOMORE): Started 34 games for Plattsburgh State… sports a .420 slugging percentage… tallied 11 extra base hits including a home run against New Paltz on 4/8/16… brought in 24 RBI’s in 36 appearances… posted a .954 fielding percentage bouncing primarily between third base and catcher… named to the SUNYAC All-Conference First Team.

2015 (FRESHMAN): As a freshman, Decker finished with the teams second highest batting average (.276), slugging percentage (.395) and on-base percentage (.321) while having a team-high three triples… started 26 games and played in 27 gathering 21 hits and nine RBIs… Hit the game-winning RBI double in the top of the eighth against RPI to defeat the Engineers 3-2.

High School: Played on varsity softball team at South Jefferson High School for four years...earned second and fifth team all-state honors... also played soccer and volleyball each for three years... named by Watertown Daily Times as female athlete of the year.

Personal: Born Jacquelyn A. Decker in Watertown, N.Y., on April 14, 1996... daughter of Steven Decker and Angela Decker... majoring in nursing at Plattsburgh State.
