Plattsburgh State Athletics

2014-15 (Junior): Increased his on-court efficiency by a substantial margin in nearly every area during year three of his collegiate career... received playing time in all 27 of Plattsburgh State's games and made his first-ever appearance in the starting lineup on the final day of 2014 as part of a non-conference road win at Keene State (12/31)... got off to a fast start in terms of point production by registering 10 or more markers in five of the Cardinals' first seven games... notched a season high 16 points as part of a SUNYAC road triumph over SUNY Cortland (2/13)... turned up the intensity on defense to the tune of a career-high five blocked shots at home against Oneonta State (12/6).

2013-14 (Sophomore): Brought some exceptional athleticism to the proverbial basketball table during his first go-around as a member of an NCAA institution... earned playing time in each of the Cardinals' 30 games while appearing exclusively off the bench... recorded the fifth-best rebounding average (3.9 per game) among the Plattsburgh State ranks... surpassed the 10-point mark on three occasions - all of which came in bouts away from Memorial Hall... broke out in a big way with a career day at Buffalo State (1/24)... poured in a career-high 21 points and completed his first double-double as a Cardinals by collecting 12 rebounds. 

Prior to Plattsburgh State: Honed his post-preparatory basketball skills at Clinton Community College for one season.

High School: Played at Thomas Jefferson High School in Brooklyn, N.Y.

Personal: Born Xavier Ken Thomas on October 19, 1992 in Brooklyn, N.Y. ... son of Robert and Marie Thomas ... majoring in communication studies at Plattsburgh State.
