Plattsburgh State Athletics

2012-13 (Freshman): Found himself buried within a deep Plattsburgh State bench while learning the collegiate ropes...debuted as a member of the Cardinals in their season opener against Sage where he spent five minutes in the game (11/16)... saw time in 13 of the 29 Plattsburgh State games... connected on a free throw attempt which led to the first point of his collegiate career against Salisbury in the Sponaugle New Year's Tournament (1/3).

High School: Spent just one half of his prep career on the varsity squad, but made the most of his limited time as floor general at New Rochelle High School ... earned All-Conference and All-League accolades wihle helping his squad to a league championship ... strutted his stuff with the AAU's Boroklyn Ballers during his high school days as well ... spent his pre-high school basketball career with the AAU's West Chester Hawks for two years.

Personal: Born Kirkland George Ottey on January 27, 1994, in the Bronx, N.Y. ... son of Winston Ottey and Charmin Wheeler ... outside of basketball, enjoys dancing, singing and football ... has not yet declared a major at Plattsburgh State.
