Plattsburgh State Athletics

2013-14 (Senior): Retained his reputation as one of the finest backcourt roundball experts in the SUNYAC - and in all of Division III - through the course of his farewell campaign... no SUNYAC individual bettered him in terms of assists per game (4.9) and steals per game (3.2) for the second consecutive campaign... after reigning as the NCAA Division III steals per game king, finished fifth in that category as a senior... was one of two Cardinals who earned a spot among the starting five for all 30 of the squad's engagements... finished tied with fellow final-year man John Perez for the team lead in minutes per game (29.3)... set a new career high in scoring by chipping in a pair of 16-point performances against St. Lawrence (11/19) and at Oneonta State (1/18)... broke the double-digit barrier in the assists department twice by amassing 10 helpers at Buffalo State (1/24) and against Fredonia State (2/21)... saved one of his best defensive performances for his final game as he accumulated a season-best eight steals in an NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Tournament third-round bout at Amherst (3/14)... was on the receiving end of his second consecutive All-SUNYAC Second Team citation at the conclusion of the SUNYAC season.

2012-13 (Junior): Single-handedly revitalized the Cardinals' backcourt while making quite a splash in his inaugural season at a Division III institution... peerless in the SUNYAC in terms of assists per game (6.0) and steals per game (3.8)... the latter figure proved to be the highest in all of Division III basketball... saw the court in all 29 games and led the squad with 28 selections to the starting lineup... used his proficiency in the passing department to break a 29-year-old school record in single-season assists (175)... was on the hardwood for more minutes than any other member of the team (742, 25.6 per game)... worked equally hard in the rebounding department by registering the second-best rebounding average on the squad (4.3 per game)... hit double-digits in the scoring column on nine separate occasions including a career-high 13 at SUNY Geneseo (1/11)... saw his attempt at a triple-double go by the wayside (11 points, 10 rebounds, nine assists) while facing off against SUNY Cortland in Memorial Hall (2/15)... nearly entered double-digit territory in the steals department on a pair of instances by accumulating nine against Oneonta State (1/19) and Buffalo State (1/25)... named to the All-SUNYAC Second Team at the conclusion of the season.

Prior to Plattsburgh State: A well-traveled player, Manning spent the 2009-10 campaign at NCAA Division II LIU Post ... played in 25 games for the Pioneers, starting just five of them ... averaged 2.1 points, 1.8 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.2 steals per game during his sole season at the Division II level ... enjoyed a fine rookie campaign at Molloy College, culminating with an All-ECC Rookie Team selection.

High School: Carved out quite the career at Baldwin High School under the basketball tutelage of Darius Burton ... led the Bruins to a Long Island Championship during the 2007-08 campaign ... captured Nassau County Player of the Year honors as well as a selection to the Newsday All-Long Island Team during his prep career.
