Plattsburgh State Athletics

Prior to Plattsburgh State: Signed on with NCAA Division II and North Carolina institution Barton College for two seasons... made 13 appearances on the hill for the Bulldogs and worked his way through 15.1 innings of action. 

High School: Turned more than his fair share of heads during his days on the diamond sporting a Peru High School uniform... didn't require much time to evolve into a standout on the mound... found himself on the receiving end of three First Team CVAC All-Star citations after capturing a CVAC Honorable Mention award at the conclusion of his first year with the team... tabbed as a Third Team All-New York State pitcher during his final prep campaign... competed in the Empire State Games in 2010... joined up with the Clinton County Mariners American Legion squad from 2008-12... also participated in basketball (two seasons) and baseball (one season) through his secondary school career.  

Personal: Born William John Flynn on August 20, 1993, in Plattsburgh, N.Y. ... son of John and Kathy Flynn... father was a pitcher for the baseball team at UCF... grandfather, Bill Kivett, served as a catcher in the Chicago Cubs' farm system... will major in criminal justice at Plattsburgh State.
