Biography

2012 (Junior): Made 12 appearances on the mound for the Cardinals...racked up a 6.75 ERA in 16 innnings pitched.

2011 (Sophomore): Had 10 relief appearances … Went 1-2 with 16.1 innings pitched … Made Cardinal debut against North Park (March 17), pitching one inning and striking out three batters … Longest outing of the season was a 7.2 inning effort at Oneonta (April 21) where he took the loss after allowing just one earned run and striking out four … Earned first win against Lyndon State (April 27) after pitching one inning and striking out a batter.

Before Plattsburgh: Played baseball for Nassau Community College in Garden City, N.Y....played three years of varsity baseball for Valley Streak South High School....named all-conference in 2009...also played football and basketball.

Personal: Born Steven M. Corea on Feb. 21, 199, in Valley Stream, N.Y....son of Steve and Diann...education biology major.
