Prior to Plattsburgh State: Competed on the baseball squad for two seasons at Jefferson Community College... hauled in the team gold glove award.

High School: Made the most of his two-year varsity stint at the hot corner for Lowville Academy... captured a pair of Frontier League All-Star accolades... helped his squad to a pair of Frontier League crowns during his final two prep campaigns... an accomplished grappler at the 140 lbs. weight class... earned a Frontier League All-Star commendation and a Class C Championship during his time on the mat.
