High School: Took up residence in the infield for three years at Voorheesville High School... earned an All-Secion nod at second base... helped his squad to sectional and regional crowns during his farewell prep season... also participated in soccer, football, basketball, volleyball and bowling during his high school athletic career... assisted Voorheesville in its capture of a sectional title in boy's soccer.

Personal: Born John David Springer Jr. on July 30, 1994 in Albany, N.Y. ... son of John Sr. and Theresa... enjoys listening to music, longboarding and snowboarding in his free time... has not yet declared a major at Plattsburgh State.
