Biography

2011 (Junior): Appeared in 13 games with seven starts … Batted .333 with seven runs scored and four RBI … Picked up three RBI in the second game of tripleheader against Oswego and went 2-for-4 in the final game (April 22) … Went 2-for-2 with a run scored against Lyndon State (April 27). Committed one error in 59 fielding chances at first base.  

2010 (Sophomore):  Received Coaches' Award, which is voted on by teammates and the coaching staff to the player who demonstrates a winning attitude and work ethic throughout the course of the season...a sure-handed first baseman who was charged with only one error in 110 total chances for a .991 fielding percentage...had percentages of .373 slugging and .321 on-base...had back-to-back 2-hit games during the Florida trip.      

2009 (Freshman):  Batted .400 in six appearances.

High School:  Prep baseball coach was Joe Crimi...also played varsity basketball at Newtown...honor roll student...peer tutor...participated in community service events such as Buddy Walk and Run for Jon.

Personal:  Born Gregory Raymond Larnerd on Dec. 15, 1989 in Danbury, Conn....son of Raymond and JoAnn Larnerd...cousin, Heather Stella, was a two-time All-American in softball at Eastern Illinois University and U.S. Olympic Team hopeful...audio/radio production major.
