Plattsburgh State Athletics

Prior to Plattsburgh State: Headed for the Capital Region for two seasons to suit up for the University of Albany baseball squad... saw action in seven contests... recorded 20 putouts... drew four walks and picked up the lone hit of his NCAA Division I career against Hofstra (5/9/12). 

High School: Excelled on the diamond for four varsity seasons under Beekmantown High School skipper Jimmy Knight... assembled a four-year stretch of All-CVAC First Team accolades as a catcher... raked in All-Conference First Team as well as All-New York Second Team accolades as a backstop... helped Beekmantown earn the CVAC championship crown as a junior after making a run to the final four as a second-year prep... took to the ice for five seasons to represent the Beekmantown High School hockey team... picked up one Second Team and one First Team All-CVAC citation and was named team MVP in his final high school campaign... hit the gridiron during the fall of his penultimate year as a prep... named the defensive player of the game during a regional triumph which ultimately led to a CVAC championship. 

Personal: Born Frank Matthew Buksa on April 13, 1993 in Plattsburgh, N.Y. ... son of Frank and Brenda Buksa... enjoys hunting, fishing, playing golf and playing hockey... will major in business administration at Plattsburgh State.
