2010 (Freshman): Academic All-SUNYAC...led the Cardinals with 7.43 strikeouts per 9 innings with a minimum of 20 innings of work...won first game in first career appearance in a relief role on March 6 against Penn State-Abington, scattering four hits and allowing no runs in an 8-4 victory.
High School: Three-time sport star in baseball (4 letters), cross country (3) and basketball (2) at Afton Central...prep baseball coach was Ron Rapp...two-time All-Mid/State Athletic Conference (MAC) All-Star, including a first team nod in 2008...team MVP as a senior...also three-time All-MAC first team cross country performer...2008 state qualifier...MAC basketball all-star in 2008 (honorable mention) and 2009 (second team)...valedictorian of graduating class...participated in the annual Head Start Christmas present drive.
