2015 (Junior): Scott emerged as the ace of the staff in 2015, appearing in 13 games, eight of those starts…Finished with a 5-3 record and a 2.94 ERA…Sported a streak of 20 consecutive scoreless innings from 4/4 to 4/18…Threw 5.0 innings of one-run ball against Manchester on 3/15 for his first win of the season…Went 6.1 innings against Fredonia on 3/19, allowing no runs on six hits with four strikeouts…Had his best game of the season against Oneonta on 4/4, throwing a complete game with 10 strikeouts…Earned SUNYAC and ECAC Pitcher of the Week honors after throwing a complete game shutout against Brockport on 4/11…Threw 2.0 innings of scoreless relief against St. Lawrence on 4/23…Went 7.0 innings against Norwich on 4/28, allowing one earned run on six hits and struck out three.
2014 (Sophomore): Appeared in 10 games for the Cardinals, making four starts on the mound…Posted a 1-4 record with a 4.58 ERA…Threw 5.0 innings against Fredonia on 3/21 for the win, allowing two unearned runs on four hits…Threw five innings of relief against Lyndon State on 4/29, allowing one run on five hits.
2013 (Freshman): Appeared in nine games during his freshman season, making four starts…Finished with an 0-2 record and a 4.50 ERA…Made his collegiate debut against Hamilton, throwing 1.0 scoreless inning…Made his first college start against Framingham on 3/21, going 8.1 innings and allowing only two unearned runs…Threw 1.0 inning of scoreless relief against top-ranked Cortland on 3/31…Struck out a season-high five batters against Brockport over 4.0 innings of work on 4/13.
Prior to Plattsburgh State: Spent one semester at Utica College.
High School: Spent three seasons on the hill for C.W. Baker High School... picked up a second-team All-League citation during his final high school go-around... assisted his squad as they picked up sectional and regional crowns during his senior year... hunkered down in the middle of the C.W. Baker football team's offensive line for three years as well... captured sectional and regional championships in 2009 and 2010 during his days on the gridiron gang... laced up his cleats as a member of the CNY Thunder Baseball Organization from 2010-11.
