Biography

2010 (Freshman): Went 2-0 in 12 appearances, including two starts...ranked first among freshmen with at least 10 innings pitched...earned first collegiate win in first collegiate start vs. St. Lawrence April 13, allowing four hits and three runs in seven innings pitched.

High School:  Baseball team MVP at Seton Catholic...named an All-Champlain Valley Athletic Conference Division II All-Star as a junior after posting a 4-3 record with 73 strikeouts in 45 innings pitched...had a 2.93 earned-run average...allowed only 19 walks...team was Section VII runner-up...played summer league ball with the Clinton County Mariners.

Personal:  Born Matthew Michael Seymour on April 10, 1991 in Plattsburgh, N.Y....parents are Mike and Kim...enjoys fishing and golfing...environmental science major.
