Biography
2014-15 (Senior): All-SUNYAC Third Team... Permanently etched his name into the Cardinals' record books by the time the final leg of his career was all said and done... finished with a points-per-game average of 9.2 which was the third-highest mark among the Plattsburgh State ranks... was one of six players who took part in all 27 of the Cardinals' games... recorded 10 or more points in 13 games... no player on the squad amassed more steals (39) or logged more minutes of playing time (741)... ranked ninth in the 10-team SUNYAC in terms of free throw shooting (71.9-percent)... became just the 14th player in program history to reach 1,000 points with a nine-point performance during a SUNYAC win at SUNY Geneseo (1/23)... just 10 other Plattsburgh State men's basketball players pumped in more points than his 1,116 during their respective careers.
2013-14 (Junior): Maintained an upward trend of point production in his third year of intercollegiate basketball activity... wrapped up his first season as an upperclassman by pumping in 12.9 points per game - the third-highest scoring average among the Plattsburgh State ranks... hit the hardwood for 27 of the Cardinals' 30 confrontations and was among the starting five in 25 tilts... failed to net at least 11 points in just two of his first 13 games... came to be known as one of the most reliable free throw shooters in the SUNYAC as he hit 76.4 percent (107-140) of his attempts which translated to the fifth-highest percentage in the 10-team league... collected four games of 20 or more points - the second-highest total on the squad... uncorked the highest-scoring Plattsburgh State performance of the season on SUNY Geneseo by hanging a career-high 33 points on the Knights in a Cardinal win (1/10)... hit 12 of his 21 field goals (57.1 percent) and swished a career-best six triples in the bout... earned a spot on the All-SUNYAC Third Team.
2012-13 (Sophomore): Took a big step forward in his collegiate roundball maturation by morphing into the go-to offensive product for the Cardinals before reaching the halfway point of his post-secondary days... observed a substantial increase in nearly every statistical category and started 28 of 29 games after what could only be called a successful freshman campaign... led the multi-pronged offensive attack plan for the Cardinals by averaging 11.8 points per outing... a highly increased percentage at the charity stripe allowed him to be the second-most effective Plattsburgh State shooter from that distance (75.2 percent)... reached or surpassed the 10-point plateau in all but eight of the Cardinals' tilts... broke the 20-point barrier on a trio of occasions - including two which happened in the confines of Memorial Hall... traveled to Buffalo State where he put forth his best performance in terms of points with 24 which included a 5-of-5 mark from three-point range (1/25).
2011-12 (Freshman): Was third on the team in scoring as a freshman despite not starting a game...averaged 7.1 points per game in 25 appearances...only freshman to break the 100 point mark, with 177...third on the team in assists with 35...scored a season-high 16 points after going 3-5 from the field and 2-for-3 from three-point range against Potsdam (Jan. 14).
High School: Played basketball at Floral Park High under Nick Simone … won Hank Williams Award which goes to the player of the year … was named player of the conference and a member of the first team all-long island … averaged 21.9 points a game.
Personal: Born Shamoy McIntosh on Oct. 9, 1993 … son of Jennifer McIntosh … enjoys dancing … favorite movie is Love and Basketball... favorite team is the Los Angles Lakers... is majoring in communication studies at Plattsburgh State.
