2009 (Junior):  Started in 20 of 30 games at first base...hit .268 in 71 at-bats during first season with the Cardinals...1 home run with 25 runs batted in...had 30 total bases for a .423 slugging percentage...committed just two errors in 100 total chances for a .980 fielding percentage. 

Before Plattsburgh: Played two seasons at the College of Staten Island...earned All-City University of New York Athletic Conference First Team honors as a sophomore, ranking in the Top 10 in 10 conference statistical categories...T-3rd with six triples, fourth with 38 RBI, sixth with a .377 batting average and eighth with 57 hits...had 80 total bases and slugged .530...CUNYAC Rookie of the Week...earned the Coaches' Award...helped Dolphins to a 22-19 record and CUNYAC championship with an 11-4 league mark, also winning conference playoffs...team went 14-21 overall and 8-9 in CUNYAC in 2007.

High School: Earned varsity letters in baseball and basketball at St. Joseph by the Sea...baseball coach was Gordan Russ.

Personal: Born Andrew Joseph Baio on March 30, 1988 in Staten Island, N.Y....son of Joseph and Constance Baio...brother, Salvatore, played baseball at NCAA Division I Rutgers University...likes working out...hotel, restaurant and tourism management major.
