PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – The Plattsburgh State men's lacrosse team celebrated 11 seniors on Saturday evening and fell in their last home game of the regular season to Brockport 19-7 in a State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) matchup. Senior attacker
John Eiseman (Farmingville, N.Y. / Sachem East) led the team in points with four off of a three-goal hat trick and one assist. With Eiseman's four points on the day he has reached the 100-point mark for his collegiate career.

Cam Morin (Raynham, Mass. / Bridgewater-Raynham) also had a multi-goal game with two goals on the day.
Donald Woods (Rocky Point, N.Y. / Rocky Point) and
Logan Vilardi (West Babylon, N.Y. / West Babylon) netted a goal each for the Cardinals. Sophomore defender
Connor Vanella (Holtsville, N.Y. / Sachem East) led the team in assists with two as he registered the first points of his career. Senior defender
Max Lamitie (Ridge, N.Y. / Longwood) picked a career-high five ground balls while senior midfielder
Chris Falborn (Nanuet, N.Y. / Nanuet) was right behind him with four. Junior midfielder
Jimbo Farrelly (West Nyack, N.Y. / Clarkstown South) had 11 faceoff wins to go with four ground balls.
For the Golden Eagles, Nick Askin led the team in points with seven off of five goals and two assists. Right behind him was Jackson Worden with six points off of five goals and one assist.
The Golden Eagles slightly outshot the Cardinals 43-39 and had a 35-30 advantage in ground balls. The Golden Eagles won the faceoff battle 17-13. The Cardinals were 1-8 on extra man-up opportunities while the Golden Eagles were 4-7. On clears the Cardinals were an efficient 19-21 and the Golden Eagles were 20-22.
Plattsburgh moves to 4-10 overall (0-5 SUNYAC) and next travels to Potsdam on Wednesday, Apr 27 with the faceoff dropping at 7 pm. Brockport moves to 4-9 overall (2-3 SUNYAC) and next hosts Geneseo on Wednesday, Apr 24 with the faceoff dropping at 4 pm.
The Cardinals got on the board first as Eiseman opened up the scoring at the 14:06 mark followed by a Ben Hay goal at the 13:18 mark that tied the game at 1. Mike O'Brien followed up with another goal at the 8:56 mark for the Golden Eagles before Eiseman netted his second goal of the game shortly after and tied the game at 2. The Golden Eagles went on a four-goal run before Morin ended the run with a last-second goal in the first that made the score 6-3 Golden Eagles after one.
Worden opened the second with a goal at the 11:54 mark followed by a goal from Woods off the pass of Vanella that made the score 7-4 Golden Eagles. The Golden Eagles ended the second with two straight goals at the 8:37 mark and 00:34 mark and went into halftime up 9-4.
The Golden Eagles scored four straight goals in the third led by Nick Askin with two as they stretched their lead to nine and made the score 13-4. Vilardi ended the offensive run with an unassisted goal at the 5:09 mark. Garrett Smith scored the last goal of the third at the 4:22 mark and made the score 14-5 after three-quarters of play.
Worden netted a goal to start the fourth at the 13:26 mark followed by two more Golden Eagle goals that made the score 17-5 Golden Eagles. Morin got the Cardinals on the board in the fourth with a goal at the 6:10 mark assisted by Vanella. The Golden Eagles responded with back-to-back goals that made the score 19-6 Golden Eagles. Eiseman netted the final goal of the game with less than 10 seconds left as he tacked on a later score and the Cardinals fell 19-7.
Senior goalie
Dan Clements (Putnam Valley, N.Y. / Putnam Valley) had 13 saves in the loss for Plattsburgh. Junior goalie Jack Acker had 12 saves in the win for Brockport.
