The Gulls plated three runs in the bottom of the first to take an early lead and ended up holding the Cardinals to one hit to pull out the victory.
Sophomore shortstop
Sam Gentile (Highland, N.Y./Our Lady of Lourdes) posted the lone hit for Plattsburgh State, while graduate student shortstop Keelin Spencer and junior second baseman Chrissy Marotto each had two base knocks for Endicott.
Despite shouldering the loss, junior pitcher

Game 2: Plattsburgh State 10, St. Norbert 2 (5 inn.)
Junior center fielder
Kristen Langdon batted 4-for-4 with four RBI and two runs scored in game two, tying a single-game program record for hits in a game in leading the Cardinals to a 10-2 victory over St. Norbert in a run-rule shortened game.
Langdon joins an elite club of former Cardinals, as four hits have only been achieved in a game 23 times in program history.
While St. Norbert got on the board first when sophomore second baseman Lilly Haase ripped an RBI double in the top of the first, two runs came across for Plattsburgh State in the home half of the inning. Junior catcher
Rebecca Diller (Halfmoon, N.Y./Shenendehowa) tied the game with an RBI groundout before Golino eventually came around to score on a throwing error.
The Green Knights leveled the tally in the top of the third when Haase recorded an RBI lineout, but the Cardinals regained the lead with a five-run fourth. In the fifth, with the bases loaded, Langdon ended the game with a run-rule walk-off triple.
Beyond Langdon, Golino batted 2-for-3 with two runs scored, while junior pitcher
Kristina Maggiacomo (South Setauket, N.Y./Ward Melville) and Manalo each scored two runs. For St. Norbert, Primus batted 2-for-2 with two runs scored.
Maggiacomo earned the win in the circle for the Cardinals, allowing two runs on four hits while striking out two. Senior pitcher Morgyn Zielke shouldered the loss for the Green Knights, giving up four runs (three earned) on three hits while striking out two.
