Emily Caoili (Lagrangeville, N.Y./Arlington), but the Bears took a 4-3 advantage with three unanswered goals. Graduate student attacker Alli Stark cashed in on a pass from LaDue to start the run, while Stevenson scored twice. Porcaro and sophomore midfielder

Nikki Scioscia (Riverhead, N.Y./Riverhead) buried her first collegiate goal woman-up 5:15 into the second half, while Vangas scored unassisted and Guzzetta converted on a Kallamni pass to hand the home team an 8-5 advantage. Potsdam's 4-0 run that ensued included goals from four different goal scorers, setting the stage for Plattsburgh State's late offensive surge.
Plattsburgh State finished with the upper hand in shots (34-21), ground balls (34-22) and draw controls (14-11). Both teams struggled to move the ball at times in the snow, with the Cardinals going 15-for-23 on clears and the Bears going 15-for-28.
