PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – The Plattsburgh State baseball team is now 7-21 overall and 1-14 in the SUNYAC after wrapping up their series against No. 21/24 Oswego (21-8, 11-3) with an 11-2 loss on Sunday at Chip Cummings Field.
Senior
Noah Clark (Toms River, N.J. / Toms River East) went 3-for-4 at the plate including a double.
The Lakers took a 2-0 lead in the top of the second after scoring off a single to right field and a single to right center.
Sophomore
Stephen Bryant (Center Moriches, N.Y. / Center Moriches) cut the Lakers lead in half in the bottom of the fourth with a single to left field that scored Clark.
Oswego recorded five runs in the top of the fifth off a sacrifice fly, a single up the middle, a single up left center and two runs off one error.
Sophomore
Kentaro Mori (Tokyo, Japan / Joto) scored off a throwing error in the bottom of the fifth for the Cardinals second run.
The Lakers logged four runs in the eighth off a sacrifice fly, a throwing error, a single to right field and a single to left center.
The Cardinals couldn't get the bats going in the final two innings and took the nine-run loss.

PJ Weeks (Bayport, N.Y. / Bayport-Blue Point) pitched 4.2 innings and gave up ten hits, seven runs, walked one and struck out two.

Ryan Whalen (Plattsburgh, N.Y. / Plattsburgh) pitched three innings and scattered four hits, four runs and struck out five.
Sophomore
Connor Lyons (Brookhaven, N.Y. / Bellport) pitched .1 innings and struck out one.

Alec Fauvell (Smithtown, N.Y. / Smithtown West) pitched one inning and gave up one hit.
