Wolejko made 41 saves in the victory, which is tied with Mandy Mackrell (Dec. 3, 2010) for the second-most in a single game in program history.
Middlebury finished with a 42-24 edge in shots on goal, and neither team scored on the power play. The Cardinals were 0-for-4 with the extra skater, while the Panthers were 0-for-3.
Plattsburgh State rises to 16-2-1 overall with the win and kicks off a Northeast Women's Hockey League (NEWHL) series at Oswego State on Friday, Feb. 2, at 7 p.m. Middlebury drops to 12-4-1 overall with the loss and saw its 10-game unbeaten streak snapped. The Panthers next host Wesleyan University on Friday, Feb. 2, at 7 p.m.

Meghan Kraus (Bellingham, Wash./Northern Cyclones) from behind the goal line in Plattsburgh State's defensive zone, and Kraus skated down the right wing on a 3-on-2 opportunity. Kraus centered a pass to Sheeran, who scored blocker side from the slot.
Middlebury knotted the tally at 1-all 4:06 into the second period. Senior forward Maddie Winslow dug the puck out from below the goal line, and sophomore forward Sidney Portner elevated a shot from close range over the goaltender.

Kayla Meneghin (Clifton, N.J./The Gunnery) delivered the eventual game-winner. Junior forward

Mackenzie Millen (Anchorage, Alaska/North American Hockey Academy) along the left boards, and Millen sped into the zone to create a one-on-one opportunity with the goalie. The Panther netminder made a pad save at point blank range before Meneghin crashed the net and knocked the puck past the goal line.
Sophomore goaltender Lin Han suffered the loss for the Panthers, making 22 stops.
