First was Luke Baleshta who would slip his defender and roof one short side over the glove of Canton goalie Louie Puig.

Then the Cardinals would score two quick ones within a minute thirty of each other late in the second period to take a commanding 5-0 lead into the locker room.

With just 3:25 remaining in the period defensive captain Brandon Beadow would tally his third goal in four games shooting a wrister from the blue-line while gliding from the slot towards the right hand boards.

Then under two minutes remaining the puck bounced around behind the net before kicking out to Kevin Emmerling in the slot who one-timed it in front of the crease beating Puig.

Plattsburgh State would tally its sixth and seventh goals quickly in the third period when Connor Gorman would find the back of the net 2:29 in.

Constantine would collect his second goal of the game less than two minutes later.

The Cardinals now 17-5-1 will now have eight days of rest as they will travel to Oswego State to revenge an earlier loss this season at home on next Friday with the top spot in the SUNYAC standings on the line.
