CLINTON, N.Y. — The Plattsburgh State volleyball team went 2-2 over the weekend at the Hamilton Invitational.

After defeating Canton and losing to Hamilton Friday, both in five games, Plattsburgh beat Russell Sage Saturday in three after losing to Southern Vermont in three.

In the loss to Southern Vermont, Kayla Nason recorded 12 set assists and two digs, Andrea Kalter had 11 digs, Rosi Cummings finished with five kills and 11 digs, and Kayla Hoops totaled five kills and two block assists.

Nancy Vickerson tallied six kills, 11 digs and one service ace in Plattsburgh's win over Russell Sage.

Nason added 37 set assists in the second match, Cummings recorded 10 kills and 15 digs, Theresa Lilly had 10 kills, and Kalter was good for nine kills.

Cummings was named to the All-Tournament team.

Plattsburgh is slated to host its home opener on Tuesday against St. Lawrence at 7 p.m.
