ONEONTA, N.Y. — The Plattsburgh State volleyball team fell to New Paltz and Potsdam Friday during the first session of SUNY Athletic Conference pool play.

Plattsburgh lost to New Paltz, 3-2 (19-25, 25-18, 25-15, 18-25, 15-1), before getting beat, 3-1 (19-25, 25-21, 25-21, 25-20), by Potsdam.

In the first match, Andrea Kalter and Rosi Cummings recorded 22 and 21 digs, respectively, and Cummings added 15 kills.

Meghan Clifford picked up 18 set assists against New Paltz.

Clifford doubled that number in the second match, recording 36 set assists against Potsdam.

Also in the second match, Cummings had 15 kills, and Kalter had eight digs.

Plattsburgh will face Cortland today at noon and Oneonta at 2 p.m.
