NORTHFIELD, Vt. - The Plattsburgh State volleyball team won its fourth match in the last five Tuesday evening, defeating the Norwich Cadets 25-15, 21-25, 25-18 and 25-17.
Rosi Cummings led the team with 14 kills followed by Theresa Lilly with 11. Four Plattsburgh players hit double-digits in digs. Lilly picked up a team-best 20 digs while Cummings and Keely Fink had 11 apiece. Nancy Vickerson finished 10 digs.
Freshman setter Meghan Clifford recorded 39 assists for the Cardinals. Clifford also contributed five aces.
The Cardinals will look to continue their recent success this weekend as they travel to Oneonta State for SUNYAC Pool Play. Plattsburgh will play New Paltz and Potsdam on Friday at 5 and 7 p.m., respectively. Saturday will feature conference matches against Cortland at noon and Oneonta State at 2 p.m.
