CANTON, N.Y.  - The Plattsburgh State women's volleyball team completed a 2-2 weekend at the Victory Promotions Invitational hosted by SUNY Potsdam on Saturday afternoon.  The Cardinals defeated Cazenovia 25-19, 25-11, 25-21 in the morning match, but dropped their second match to Southern Vermont 30-28, 25-16, 25-15.

In the win against Cazenovia, Kayla Nason picked up 24 assists.  Amanda Wickers finished the match with four aces while Kayla Hoopes contributed six kills.

Nason recorded 20 assists against Southern Vermont.  Rosi Cummings added eight kills and Nancy Vickerson had eight digs.

Junior Theresa Lilly represented the Cardinals on the All-Tournament Team.

Plattsburgh returns to action Sept. 16-17 as the host the Best Western-Ground Round Cardinal Classic Tournament.  Play starts at 4:30 p.m. Friday afternoon at Memorial Hall.
