POTSDAM, N.Y.--Missing two starters, the Plattsburgh State volleyball team couldn't sustain any offensive pressure on Friday during a 25-15, 25-15, 25-15 loss at the hands of Saint Lawrence at the Clarkson Golden Knight Invitational held at Alumni Gymnasium. The Saints improve to 13-4 on the year while the Cardinals fall to 3-18.
Theresa Lilly and Kristin Saheim led Plattsburgh with four kills apiece. Cat Darling contributed three kills and two blocks. Hilary Boyea got the start at setter and posted a season-high 13 assists, to go along with six digs.
The Cardinals had an attack percentage of just .000 while the Golden Knights, who were led by Liz Grogan's 10 kills, hit for a .365 clip.
