Oneonta Invitational Comes to a Close for Cardinals

ONEONTA, N.Y. - The Plattsburgh State volleyball squad lost a pair of 3-0 matches on Saturday's last day of the Oneonta State Invitational, dropping to 8-14 on the season.

Hartwick defeated the Cardinals 25-22, 25-23, 25-15 in what virtually was a home date for the hometown Hawks whose campus is just minutes from the site of the 12-team event.  Plattsburgh was led by Kristin Saheim's six kills and five blocks while Kaitlyn Bakker had three kills and two blocks.  Susan Bodkin chipped in 12 assists and six digs.  

In a 25-23, 25-17, 25-15 loss at the hands of King's College, Chyresse Wells and Bakker had five kills apiece for the Plattsburgh offense. Wells also saved 12 digs.  Bodkin assisted on 16 kills and had seven digs.
