A two-sport student-athlete, Richard Jamison left his name planted in the soccer and basketball record books. He graduated with a program-high 33 career goals scored, a record that stood for 10 years.
Jamison ended his four-year career with 78 points and two team Most Valuable Player awards. In basketball, he twice led the team in free throw average and assists average. He scored a person-high 191 points during his senior season. Jamison also received Plattsburgh State Student-Athlete of the Year twice.

Where are they now?
After graduating, Jamison taught and coached on the elementary and high school levels. He is a former athletic director at Dowling College. Jamison is also a former president of the National Intercollegiate Soccer Officials Association who also garnered three New York State NCAA Division II Coach of the Year awards.
In 1978, he was invited to help set up the Nationwide Outdoor Recreation Plan for the U.S. Department of the Interior. In addition to his Plattsburgh State induction, Jamison is also a member of the National Soccer Hall of Fame.
