The Mississauga, Ontario, native also earned three All-SUNYAC honors during his career and was named the Plattsburgh State Male Athlete of the Year in 2003-04.
During his time with the program, Figliola helped the Cardinals achieve a record of 68-17-3, which included a 22-2-0 2005 season in which Plattsburgh State won the SUNYAC title and advanced to the NCAA Division III Tournament semifinals.

They live in Milton, Ontario, which is located about 40 minutes southwest of Toronto.
His greatest personal accomplishment “by far” is being married to his wife and having three beautiful children. Professionally, “being a teacher and coach for several years, it is always a joy to see my students progress at each moment and throughout their lives.”
Favorite Plattsburgh State Sports Moment:
“My most memorable Plattsburgh State sports moment is when we hosted the NCAA Elite 8 at Plattsburgh State and were able to come out on top and book our ticket to the Final Four. Doing this after three years of hard luck in championship games, in front of our amazing fans and family, was simply an indescribable feeling. It was the perfect way to end my senior year and career as a Cardinal.”
