Jack enjoyed a three-year playing career in basketball, was a two-time member of the Intercollegiate Soccer Conference All-Star Team and a one-year baseball player. In that time as a basketball player, he played 57 games, scored 908 points and collected 312 rebounds.
For his successes, he earned three All-SUNYAC selections. In his lone baseball season in 1959, Jack was named team captain for a squad coached by fellow Hall of Famer Joe Jastrab. Following the 1959 season, Jack spent time in the Pittsburgh Pirates’ system.
After finishing his playing career, Jack went on to become a teacher and school administrator. He was also a civic leader in programs to benefit youth and the developmentally handicapped.
