Gail was a four-sport student-athlete with a specialty in basketball. In 1966, she was voted SUNY Plattsburgh’s “outstanding woman athlete.” In addition to her athletic success, Gail was an honor student and a student government leader. She contributed to the community by becoming an activist for improvements to school, church and youth sports.
