Where is she now

Erin currently works for the Department of Justice, Office on Violence Against Women (OVW) and is a senior financial analyst (team lead) for the Grants Financial Management Division. The Office on Violence Against Women is a component of the Department of Justice and administers financial and technical assistance to communities across the country that are developing programs, policies and practices aimed at ending domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault and stalking.

She moved down to the Washington, D.C., area upon graduating from Plattsburgh in 2004 and has lived there ever since. Erin married her husband, Matthew Lorah, in 2013, and they have three children: Oliver (2.5 years old) and two 11-month-old twin girls: Kennedy and Cassidy.

Erin has stayed active in sports, playing competitive USAV women’s volleyball and recreational softball in addition to completing a 10-mile race just five months after having their first child, despite not being a long-distance runner.

Favorite Plattsburgh State Sports Moment

“Going to SUNYACs every year. During my junior year, I’d have to say when we beat Oneonta in overtime to advance to the conference tournament semifinals for the first time ever and when we were selected for the ECAC upstate bid that same year. At that time, we set the school record for the amount of wins in a season.”
