Elizabeth Gibson help mold the Plattsburgh State women's hockey program from an NCAA newcomer to a national power, she did so by submitting a career which few Cardinals who followed in her footsteps have been able to replicate. Elizabeth owns an astounding 11 Plattsburgh State program records including career goals (120), career assists (106) and career points (226). A two-time AHCA All-American, Elizabeth became the first player in program history to be named a four-time All-ECAC West First Team performer. In addition to those laurels Elizabeth also hauled in citations for 2001-02 Rookie of the Year, 2003-04 Player of the Year and 2004-05 Co-Player of the Year.
