Plattsburgh State Athletics

Richard Semmler competed as a two-sport student-athlete during his years at Plattsburgh State. He was a three-time captain and three-time MVP in one of the two sports. Semmler was also the first recipient of the SUNY Chancellor’s Scholar-Athlete Award. After graduation, he became an honored college mathematics professor.
