Dr. Peter DeArmas ended his collegiate playing career in 1985 among one of the all-time leaders in several scoring categories. During his senior season, DeArmas earned a First Team All-American selection after compiling 81 points on 37 goals and 44 assists as the Cardinals secured an NCAA Division III Tournament Final Four spot.

He was also named to the NCAA All-Tournament Team that season. In the 1983-84 season, he led the team with 30 goals and 43 assists to gain the first of two First Team All-SUNYAC selections.

DeArmas finished his career with 95 goals and 113 assists for 208 points. At the time of his induction, he ranked tied for second in single season power-play goals (19) and game-winning goals (7). He also ranks second in career game-winning goals (14). In his four years, Plattsburgh State made the NCAA Tournament three times.

Where are they now?
After leaving Plattsburgh, DeArmas played two seasons of minor league hockey for the Toledo Gold Diggers and the Virginia Lancers. He was named the Atlantic Coast Hockey League most valuable player in 1987.
