Doris was a three-sport collegiate student-athlete. She was an outstanding performer in basketball, softball and volleyball. In addition to her accomplishments in athletics, Doris was a three-year class president while becoming a Dean’s List student.
After her playing career ended, she began a life in education that spanned more than 35 years. During this time as a classroom teacher, Doris coached girls’ sports at the high school level. An active community servant, she could be found helping out at church activities.
