Plattsburgh State Athletics

All Brian McGrane did while stationed in the midfield for the Plattsburgh State men's soccer team from 1999-2002 was produce a career which has been unrivaled by the vast majority of players in the program's storied history. A four-time choice to both the All-SUNYAC First Team and the NSCAA All-Region First Team, Brian amassed 72 points (27 goals, 22 assists) and helped lead the Cardinals to a mark of 62-19-5 during his playing days. Under the on-field leadership of McGrane, the Cardinals laid claim to a pair of SUNYAC Tournament crowns and made two appearances in the NCAA Tournament. He became the tenth player in the history of the program to earn All-American Honors when the NSCAA placed him on the Third Team following the 2001 campaign.
