2011 (Junior): Led the Cardinals with 21 runs batted in – 13 of which came in conference play... was second among regular players with a .312 batting average and scored a team-high 26 runs... hit eight doubles, two triples and two home runs (Fredonia, April 10 and Lyndon State, April 27) ... 10th home run tied school career record ...named to the All-SUNYAC 1st team, along with the All-Academic team and the Commissioner's List.

2010 (Sophomore): Appeared in all 40 games, starting 39...ranked second on the team with a .367 batting average....461 on-base percentage and .619 slugging percentage were best on the team among regular players...also ranked first on the team in total bases (86 - program record) and home runs (6)...hit a team-best seven doubles and drove in a team-high 16 runs in SUNYAC play...earned All-SUNYAC First Team accolades...named All-ECAC Upstate First Team...first Plattsburgh State baseball player to earn the SUNYAC Chancellor's Scholar Athlete award.

2009 (Freshman): Batted .298 in 35 games...started in 25 contests...had 12 runs batted in...hit five doubles and two home runs...scored 18 times...recorded 36 total bases in 84 at-bats for a .429 slugging percentage...tied for first on the team with seven stolen bases...committed only five errors in 117 total chances for a .957 fielding percentage...Academic All-SUNYAC.

Also at Plattsburgh: Led SUNYAC with 12 goals and Cardinals scoring with 25 points for the nationally ranked men’s soccer team as a freshman during the 2008 season, when he made the all-conference second team...then had seven goals and a career-high six assists during sophomore campaign of 2009...four-time Academic All-SUNYAC...led the team in goals with nine in 2010, while being named to the SUNYAC All-Tournament team after scoring three goals in three playoff games and named to the All-SUNYAC second team...finished his soccer career with the Cardinals in style, named to the All-Conference first team, NSCAA All-Region first team, ECAC Upstate All-Star team and the Capital One Academic All-District team...becamse first ever men's soccer player to be named as an NSCAA Adademic All-American...led the SUNYAC in scoring with 33 points...his 42 career goals ties him for fourth in program history.

HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in soccer and basketball at Plattsburgh.

PERSONAL: Born Patrick Michael Shaughnessy on April 27, 1990 in Plattsburgh, N.Y.... son of Michael and Beth Shaughnessy ... childhood education major with a minor in athletic coaching.
