PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – The Northeast Sports Network will be providing live video coverage of the 2016 NCAA Division III Women's Ice Hockey Championship pre-tournament banquet, which is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. in the Angell College Center's Warren Ballrooms on the campus of Plattsburgh State on Thursday night.

All four of the teams vying for the title of national champion – Plattsburgh State, Elmira College, the University of Wisconsin-River Falls and Middlebury College – will be in attendance at the banquet.

During the program, the American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) will unveil its list of 2016 All-Americans as well as its major award winners, which include the Laura Hurd Award winner and the STX/AHCA DIII Women's Hockey Coach of the Year.
 
Additionally, the NCAA will present one of the student-athletes in attendance with the Elite 90 award which recognizes the individual who possesses the highest cumulative grade-point average at the finals site of an NCAA championship event.
