PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – The Department of Athletics at Plattsburgh State has announced changes to its general public ticketing procedure for the upcoming men's ice hockey season.
For the first time, fans will be able to purchase tickets for regular season men's ice hockey games online at
tickets.plattsburgh.edu. General public tickets will go on sale the
Monday prior to each game day at 9 a.m. with the first on-sale date being Monday, October 19 at 9 a.m. for the Cardinals' exhibition game on Saturday, October 24.
In order to purchase a ticket, you must create an account at the link above. To do this, users can click "Login" and then select "General Public/Conference Attendee." If you already have an account, you may proceed to obtain your tickets. Fans are strongly encouraged to create an account prior to the first purchase date.
If you do not have an account, then you should select "New User Registration" and complete the information sheet.
After these steps have been completed users should be able to view their account, upcoming events and have the ability to purchase tickets.
To purchase tickets, click on "Athletics" after you have logged in and select the game you wish to attend. General public are limited to five tickets per person. Once you choose the game you wish to attend, you must select the seat. Customers must select the seats marked green, which indicate they are available. After the customer selects their seats, there will be a 20 minute hold to give the customer proper time to check out. If you do not complete check out in the time given, you will lose those seats and have to choose again. Just as a reminder, general public can only sit in sections C,D,E,F,G,H,I,J,K,L,M,N and O. Make sure you review your transaction details and remember to check out.
When a customer purchases a ticket, they will be moved to a screen saying "SUNY Plattsburgh Order Complete." From there users will have the ability to print and save their e-tickets. They should also receive an email confirmation receipt with their e-ticket.
It is important to note that e-tickets and season credentials (for season ticket holders) are the ONLY means of entry into home games for the 2015-16 men's ice hockey season.
To print e-tickets, users should login and click on "my account" and then click "print e-ticket." Under this tab users should be able to view every ticket they have purchased, including men's hockey individual games. We encourage users to print their e-tickets at home; however they are available at the Field House Box Office if you have already purchased them online.
Online ticket sales will close at 5 p.m. on the day of the game. All remaining general public tickets will be available for purchase the day of the game at the Field House Box Office, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Accessible, wheelchair and companion seating is only available by calling the Field House at
(518) 564-4062 or at the Field House Box Office at 5:30 p.m. on the day of the game.
