PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – The Plattsburgh State department of athletics has announced some changes to its student ticketing policy for men's ice hockey. These changes will be in effect for the entire 2014-15 season.

From Saturday, Oct. 24 until Saturday, Nov. 15, student tickets to each men's ice hockey game will be available in three locations. Plattsburgh State's new online ticketing system – tickets.plattsburgh.edu – will have tickets for each game available from 9 a.m., until 7 p.m., on the day of each game. The Field House will also be selling tickets to the games beginning at 5:30 p.m., on the day of the game. Additionally, students obtain their tickets at the ticket kiosk in the lobby of the Field House.

Immediately following the Fredonia State game on Nov. 15, all student tickets will be available only by accessing tickets.plattsburgh.edu or at the ticket kiosk which will be located in the lobby of the Plattsburgh State Field House.

By accessing tickets.plattsburgh.edu, students will be prompted to set up an account which will be used to print out their tickets.

Once single-game tickets have been obtained from tickets.plattsburgh.edu, students must print out a copy of their e-ticket and bring it – along with a valid student ID – to the game.  

Those who obtain their tickets at the Field House box office must also have a valid student ID in order to receive their tickets. Only one ticket will be issued per student.

All student seating in sections A, B ad P has now been changed to first come, first serve general admission seating. Once each of those sections is filled, all tickets issued to students will become standing room only tickets.

Any students who do not have a valid student ID will have to pay for a single-game ticket.
